Appears to be Standard Eight or Standard Ten (or Triumph Ten) with non-standard grille. Not been able to find it yet though.

I found a reference to the Ohta PX being from 1955, is that the year you are looking for?

Yes, that is the date I was looking for, although looking at the story below it may actually be from earlier but only saw the light of day in 1955 (but not production!). So it's 1 point for marmer; well done!
