Yes, except that it was built in 1952. The customer, Fritz Hermann, director of a mining company, sent very detailed specifications to Drews, e.g. that the windscreen wipers had to come from a Fiat 1400. The car was powered by a Porsche 1500 engine.

Thank you for this interesting point. Mr Joachim P. Drews disagrees with you on the year of construction. His homepage mentions 1951. But that doesn't make the car any less interesting.
Edit: 1952 was a very good vintage!!

In his book he writes that the order came in January 1952 and the car was delivered early in 1953.
