That's it. No sense in asking for the model name, as it can be read on the number plate in the last pictures. The drawing itself is not in the Lepoix book, by the way.

Think L3 is not the model designation, but Lepoix's signature 3 x L for Louis Lucien Lepoix

You are right, the L3 can be found on several of his designs. I've changed the header.

I understand that the prototype was never finished due to financial problems. Horex stopped producing motorbikes in 1956 and finally were taken over by Mercedes Benz in 1960. The brand name Horex popped up several times ever since, but without much success.
