It is not a unit-body construction, isn't it?

I believe mostly wood which makes this a ...
... car-bodied boat? Or an amphibious vehicle, of course.

Sorry, I mixed up two puzzles.

So to answer this: it is not unit-body construction. I was wrong about the body material, but what you should focus is not the body, but a part of the body

[Edited for more sensible response.]

Was this body intended for a vehicle fitted with tracks and/or skis?

Still it is not about the body, it is about one specific section of the body.

Could it be an early wooden monocoque construction?!

Locked for oko94. It is about the roof.

There will be 2 points awarded eventually. 1 for the thing depicted and another for the coachbuilder

Is it about the construction technique used to build the roof ?

It is time to look up your German classic car magazines :)
Is Oldtimer-Markt the place to look?

Body of Carl Rohde Stellmacherei und Wagenbau, Im Rosental 26, Meerane, Saxony, Germany.
Chassis probably one of the eleven Audi.
The special feature of the construction is the front window of three parts.
The three-piece windscreen, instead of the hitherto conventional one-piece.

Stumbled upon this while looking for something unrelated. Thought it should go here.
