This is the 1951/2 Lagonda 2.6 DHC chassis number LAG/50/335.
The more I consider the nature of speed, the more mysterious I find it.

That's it, yes.
It was the early fifties project for a new drophead coupé, which never came about.
Was this the first example of vertically-stacked twin headlights I wonder?

Hmm, I don't think so, as this Lagonda has been modified to incorporate Alvis TE-TF headlamps from the mid-1960s, as well as later Morris Minor tail lights  ;)
