Yes, it was posted before as a Giannini but I posted it looking for the 'Moretti' answer!
It was shown at the Turin Show in Novvember 1967 badged as a Giannini, which is probably the car shown in the publicity photos. It had been built by Moretti but was powered by a 4-cylinder 700 cc Giannini boxer engine made by pairing two cylinder and head modules from a Fiat 500. However Domenico Giannini died very soon after that and the plug was pulled on the project as it was going to be too expensive to build to ever make a profit and they feared reliability problems.
But Moretti didn't want to waste that nice Frua-designed body so put it into production as the Moretti 700/4C with a regular Fiat 500 engine, and a few were made and marketed as a Moretti before the plug was pulled on that too.
So morphly gets the point as it was only ever sold as a Moretti and we've had the Giannini prototype before.
