Taking inspiration from a Volkswagen Type 1 puzzle that Wendax posted late last year, here's another VW Type 1 (Beetle, Kafer, Kever, Coccinelle, Sedan, etc.) puzzler.

So, for a point, what is this 'special' VW known as, and who made it?

Yes, but it might not be obvious.

Is this one of the cars used to make the movie, "The Love Bug," aka "Herbie"?

That’s a nice answer, but sadly no Herbie connection.

Hmm, it's fashioned after a VW Beetle wheel  ;)

4x4 version?
Yes, to my knowledge it has all-wheel-drive.

It's called "Huge Bugg" a reproduction of a 1959 Beetle convertble, made by Richard Tupper and his son, based on a Dodge Ram pickup, 5.7 Hemi V8.

Yes, you've got it, although it's Huge Bug with just one 'g'. The VW is 40% larger than a standard 1959 Beetle! A point to you, and here's a photo of this very large Beetle.
