From the grille it is an Aston Martin, no doubt, from the sideline Graber from Svizzerland. Regards Norbert

Hello Norbert and welcome to AutoPuzzles.
You're right on both counts!
All you need to do now is tell me exactly what model of Aston Martin it is and from when it dates and you'll earn your first point here.
Locked for you!

Hello carnut and thank you for the welcome,

the basis is most probably an Aston Martin DB2 dated 1952 (split window) and not a type DB 2/4 (one-piece window) because I do not believe Graber returned to the split window!

Regards
Norbert

I see  your logic.  I actually have it as a DB 2/4 from 1953, but information on this car is quite scarce so I couldn't be certain that's right.
We'll call it solved but if more information comes to light then we can re-visit it.
You've earned your first point (of many I hope!)

This car was presented in Geneva in March 1953 so it was finished in 1952 or early 1953.
A British magazine called it a DBII

OK, thanks.
I'll see if I can get some information from the AMOC.
