Author Topic: Solved NIC#949 - 1936 Rapier converted to s/c single-seater (Read 3561 times)

It's a Lagonda Rapier which started life as a 1934 coupe bodied by Abbott of Farnham. In 1997 and it was bought by a Mr. Reinhard List of Edlitz, Austria. He converted it to supercharged single-seater.

That's the car! Nothing more to add, really. I thought it might have been built pre-war like the Eccles car, but it's just another example of a modern "enthusiast" wrecking a car's provenance. Looks nice though.

But essentially a "special" in the VSCC tradition though.
