Societé des Automobiles Diederichs was founded in Lyon in 1912, and folded two year later. This unit from its first year of production, which was auctioned in 2013 in Switzerland after being in the hands of the same owner since the end of WW2, is believed to be the only one remaining out of a total run of about 60. The "Type LC" in the name refers to Luc Court, the company that provided the engine.
