Thank you again for your quick answer. I hope that I've the solution to that "Trio" (without sexual connotations) Apart from the meaning of Sisu in Finnish that can not be applied to any of the remaining "Place", I have immediately found that SISU is the acronym for Shangai International Studies University. Looking for the building of it appears exactly "Place M". So the complete triangle is Rust 5 - Place G - Place M.
Yes  :)

Let me explain you why I was so interested in solving Rust 5. When I was 20 years old in the 1960s I rebuilt a f9  Chassis-cabin with wooden loading platform manufactured by IMOSA in Vitoria in 1955 that my father bought in a dilapidated state, completely dismantling it, taking out the cabin to rebuild all the lows and eliminating the loading zone of wood and mounting a metallic box truck of high volume to transport furniture. In the end everything worked and we used it until the decade of the '70s. The problem was that the weight of the new body lowered the load capacity from 1000 kg to no more than 500 kg and the speed did not exceed 60 km / h which was not a problem to move in the already congested traffic of Barcelona.
Nice story, do you have a picture of your DKW to share with us?

Now to folow the game I like to place some other questions, mainly becose the amount of right hand rust pending to solve:
1.- Do Place D is from UK?
2.- Do Place E is from UK?
3.- Do Place H is from UK?
4.- Do Place A and Rust 1 are related?
5.- Do the truck of Place Rust 13 is from UK?
That's enough for some extra fun time
1) Yes
2) Yes
3) No
4) No
5) Yes

I'm tempted to ask if Place D is Coventry

I have searched rosette or rose window for a ruined Gothic style building in UK. Looking at images of this style I have found many but soon It appeared a great wall with that rosette between buildings more modern and with the title "Remains of Winchester Palace in Southwark", with those two words I have gone to look for to the greater world list of car brands (you know such web) and I have had the surprise of finding that Winchester is not only rifles is a brand of cars of the London taxi type active from 1964 to 196.  So my guess is that Rust 11 is a Winchester London Taxi that matches with Place D Winchester Palace.

I almost do not believe it, but I already have 9/15 possible points!
I do not have pictures of the van but I have asked my brothers to see if they have any.

I have to keep investigating because I do not see relationships with what I already know:
1.- Is Rust 1 related to Place C?
2.- Is Rust 11 related to Place A?
3.- Is Rust 15 a SCAMP?
4.- Is Place E an industrial complex on the Thames to the E of London?
5.- Is Place H in continental Europe?

At this stage of progress I'd prefer not to answer questions like 1) or 2) without guesses for cars and places.  :shakehead:
3) As far as I know it is not a Scamp, but very closely related.
4) Yes
5) Yes

Oh my God I can't believe this!   I know what place J is but the car that would most obviously match it is not among the car pictures! This puzzle is diabolical.

Sorry, I have noticed that if you type fast in the Reply area you lose some letters and at point 3 was the most important. There goes my new list that includes that point:
1.- Rust 1, being French, electric and not of the "brass era" must be of the WWII times. For the shape of the body, sporty and low design as a tourer I think it is a Georges Irat that could be couple with Place H which is the only photo of France that remains and if George Irat is correct could be from the town of Chatou North of Paris where Irat had its shop.
2.- I can not identify the industry of Place E, is a refinery or storage center for petroleum products?
3.- Is Place J in a balcanic country?
4.- Rust 15 seems to definitely have a Mini Moke base that would surely be built in Portugal and in such case would be the couple of Place C
5.- Is Rust 12 made in a Mediterranean country? By size and style does not seem to be related to Place 2 of US

1) Rust 1 is a Georges Irat electric voiturette from WW2 times, but Place H is not connected to it (and not Chatou either).
2) No
3) Yes
4) Rust 15 is not Moke-based and doesn't have connections to Portugal.
5) Rust 12 was made in a Mediterranean country.

I am happy because although the answers to my last questions have been generally negative or of little help, I think that given that someone said that this is a "diabolic puzzle" I have managed to unite a couple with more security:
Googling lake and island in the Balkans I have appeared infinity of travel ads in which appears almost firstly Lake Bled of Slovenia.
Rust 1 George Irat voiturette WWII must be the partner of Place J because the last project of Georges Irat was the "Voiture du bled" to be produced in Morocco

Forget Google, there is a better source for rare automobiles: AutoPuzzles had the van version before: https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/2012-41/solved-mjw-1067-georges-irat-fourgonette-1941/  :)
