I am afraid so.

It's made by Serv-Wel of Jamaica in the early nineties. The vehicle was called Veecle. The company is still active and made some material for future puzzles.

That's the car. The caption with the photo I posted calls it a Serv-Wel Party - I've never heard the Veecle name but companies like this have a habit of calling their cars all sorts of weird things, often simultaneously...

Wow - thanks. The Veecle does look to be a different model to the Party doesn't it?

Now you mention it, there are some differences, though the concept is the same? Nonetheless, very interesting.

SOLVED: WTH # 518 - 1992 Serv-Wel Party designed by Tony Stevens

To earn a point, tell us who designed this car, and specify why it was built.  This car may have a single-word name, but I have not verified it.

LOCKED for kwgibbs.

Amazing!  It is a Serv-Wel vehicle, which is a piece of information which I did not have.  With that knowledge, what model name was it given, and which designer was involved?

(With the name Serv-Wel, I discovered this car has previously been puzzled twice during 2013.)

Learning about this vehicle is an interesting journey.  When I originally found the puzzle image, "Serv-Wel" was not mentioned.

This is the Party model.  LOCK continues.

I did find a name Ray Hadeed of serv-wel industries Ltd. he made ovens and outdoor furniture, mostly outdoor products,I wonder if he could be the designer of the serv-wel leisure vehicles,it apparently made in several versions,a van, pickup and mpv?

Not Ray Hadeed.

The puzzle image is cropped from a magazine article about a famous designer.

Once I found the name Serv-Wel, I discovered the name of a design firm that was probably involved.

LOCK continues.
