So built in 1939 then?
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

It's not very easy but fortunately not totally obscure.
There is all you need to know...

If you search for that man's name and surname, Autopuzzles is in the first page of results!
He made other racing cars too.

I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

Allemano

So, the name that we're looking for has been mentioned here on AP before?

nicanary

Giuseppe Furmanik?

Was he mentioned on AP for a Fiat-based race car ?

Paul Jaray

He's been mentioned on AP at least twice.
Linked to his name there is a Fiat-based car (in 2 different versions), another car he drove (and was for sale not long ago...), a car modifed for him by a well known name and this one (that is more or less Fiat-based too).

Maybe related to Giovanni Lurani?

There is a similar car you surely known...always by him, fiat based and featured in some known sources...

Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Not Roselli...but of all the people, you surely know
Quotea car modifed for him by a well known name
that has been a puzzle before .

Allan L

I got confused about whether it was the owner or the modifier we were looking for so Giorgio Giusti. . .

There are at least 4 cars related to this man:
1. a car he used to drive in some races and it was for sale not long ago (probably few knew who was its owner, since the car is standard)
2. a Fiat-based car, similar to this one.
3. a car he took to race after a radical conversion made by a Mr G. (not Giusti but more known) (former puzzle)
2b. an updated version of the Fiat-based car, already featured here, similar to this one (former puzzle)
4. the puzzle car, already mentioned here.

Car 2, 2b and 3 were tuned my Mr G.
The mistery builder is not Mr G.
