Hansa 1300 Frua ?

That's it; well done.

Certainly Frua designed the Glas but this is a substantially different car.  I think you might say it inspired the Glas 1700 rather than it became the Glas 1700, as I'm not sure there was a connection between Hansa/Borgward and Glas?

There was no connection between Borgward and Glas, but Frua liked to create slightly altered designs on different chassis. And his design for the Glas 1500 prototype (which was to become the Glas 1700 production car) was based on this Hansa 1300, which had no future when Borgward went bankrupt. By the way, Frua's Glas 1300 GT was warmed up for the Ford Mexico Coupé and the Ford Monte Carlo GT, after Glas went out of production.
