Surprisingly this model doesn't seem to have been posted here before, so for a point, full make and model name for this car please.

It's the six-cylinder Trojan Mastra convertible from 1935. One of these was actually built and was made to run, whereas the saloon was just a rolling mock-up I believe

I should have got that, as ten years ago it was I who spotted the saloon Mastra that Grobmotorix posted https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/2007-35/trojan-mastra/msg16627/#msg16627

As for the cars themselves, in  Lost Causes of Motoring, Lord Montagu wrote: ''[at Olympia in 1935] the company showed an extraordinary vehicle whose purpose in life defeats my imagination'
He described the saloon and the drophead but had to write 'Alas neither of the two cars on the stand was complete, and, after a long proving trial in Devon, the Mastra was conveniently forgotten'
