This picture shows the car with a hardtop, which was also developed for it, fitted.
Can you give me the BMC project designation for it for the point?

Exactly. Well done.

It's been puzzled before as the convertible (same car but without the hardtop) but with the wrong project number, so I won't merge them unless everyone thinks I should.

This very attractive car was apparently destroyed in front of a Customs Officer to avoid paying any import dues, once it had been delivered to the factory in England.

I think the puzzles should be merged as it is definitely the same car. It would be helpful to add the correct project number to the merged puzzle though.
