Let's try a different kind of quiz.  Can you tell me which car does this dashboard belong ?   I'd like having no geographical questions!

Not Alvis and not Maybach.

What clues have we?
1)  The curved front edge to the door suggests a rear hinged "suicide" door and hence a 'stylish' coachbuilt car.
2)  The lack of the gap between the seats and the absence of a gear lever on the floor.  There are three pedals so it isn't an automatic.  It must be either a column change or a semi-automatic gearchange like the Cotal or other epicyclic box.
3)  Right hand drive - either British or a quality continental car.
4)  The central instrument cluster - does this mean a car designed to be readily adaptable to left- or right-hand drive?
5)  Curved windscreen - so probably post-WW2 or immediately before.

A Delahaye?

Good analysis:  the car has rear hinged doors; it actually isn't a coachbuild car, as it's a prototype.  it's not English...but it's a quality continental car.    I don't think it was thought to be suitable both for right or left drive...and it came some years before WW2.   It's not a Delahaye.

Maybe, I am on a completely wrong way, but inspiration came today, as I was on a small trip round Vienna in my Tatraplan... Some details of the dash look quite similar. While checking my books about historic cars of Eastern Europe a few minutes ago, especially Skodas of the 30s, like the Superb 4000, etc. show symmetrical dashboards and  dial faces familiar with them on the picture...

I think it's flat and the curve of the scuttle misleads one to see it as curved glass.

No, the first production car to have a curved windscreen was the Chrysler Imperial Airflow CW of 1934, beating Skoda (and a few others) by a year or so.
