Shouldn't it be named correctly: IFA F9 Roadster prototype with bodywork by 'Karosseriewerk Meerane', formerly 'Karosserie Hornig' and 'Karosserie Dietzsch'?
Mostly correct, except for the Dietzsch part. The IFA F9 Roadster was built in Meerane and already shown at the Leipzig fair in 1950. By then Hornig had turned into "IFA - Vereinigung volkseigener Fahrzeugwerke, Karosseriewerk Meerane". Dietzsch, which was located in Glauchau and St. Egidien, was merged much later with the Meerane factory by January 1, 1953.
