Now I remember. Yeah, that's right. Well done, @Alfa_Japan
The TV series ran on German television for a few years starting in 1975 and showed everyday life in a German car shop with an authorized workshop in Darmstadt (Federal Republic of Germany).
The Atlantis Amalfi CS 1800 was a typical problem car (in German "Montagsauto", in English "Friday car"), which was always causing trouble and which the buyer Mr. Schmitting could not afford. He was looking for a Fiat 127 as a replacement for his old Mini when he entered the showroom...
There were two exemplars of the Amalfi: In season 1 of the series a light blue demonstration car, which reappeared in season 4 as a used car hand-colored by hippies, and the yellow car of the long-suffering Schmitting family in the color "Securitage Yellow", which is shown in the photo above. The fantasy model, which was built from a Fiat 132 with parts from VW Passat, BMW 02, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes /8, is considered lost.
Wonderful film document, in which many European everyday cars of the 1970s appear and in the intro a few pre-war classics. All 16 episodes can currently be seen on Youtube. Search for: "PS GESCHICHTEN UMS AUTO"
