This record-breaking Hanomag car reached a top speed of 165 km/h in February 1939 with a 1.9 litre diesel engine. It produced 40 hp/3800 rpm instead of 35 hp/3200 rpm.
The body was designed by Reinhard von Koenig-Fachsenfeld and was based on patents by Paul Jaray. Weight 900 kg instead of 1320 kg, cw value: approx. 0.28.
