Not one I'm familiar with, and I don't recall in in Nankivell's book. Looks like a homebuilt American body dating from the early 1950s...

It is a 1939 California plate, recognizable by its "CALIFORNIA WORLD'S FAIR 39" line. That doesn't match with the Jowett Jupiter at all.

I actually could not read the words on the plate! Time for an eye test. I suppose an American plate could be in the possession of anyone world-wide, but I reckon from the background of the photos ,that this probably is that country. So how did the Jupiter end up there, and who did the restyling?
