Well done targhediferro. Never heard of Carrozzeria Marino and it's not even mentioned in Alessandro Sannia's Carrozzeria Encyclopaedia!

I looked to see if I could find any more pictures on the internet but could only find this one of the puzzle car, though there were also some other Fiats they must have bodied:

Very nice find!
According to the license plate (TO-119949), it is not a berlinetta by Brandoli, but THE same berlinetta.
It was built to race in both classes 750 and 1100cc reducing the stroke of the Fiat 1100 engine.
Last seen in a race in 1954.

Marino Brandoli was a mechanic working for Maserati befor WWII in Momdena. Around 1946 he built a special (Fiat-chassis and Maserati engine). He later moved to Turin and developed his 'testa Marino', a special head for Fiat 500 engine. After this berlinetta, bodied by Motto, he made a 1100 barchetta in 1954 and later a Lancia powered F1 and another barchetta sport. He was not strictly a coachbuilder.

I believe it's always the same car, built by Marino Brandoly and coachwork by Motto.

That exactly answers my question, as I only read about Marino Brandolis mechanical work....
