Adventure Tricycle by Louis Heron & Antoine Fleitout 1913 Toulon, France. According to Museo Nicholis and other sources is from 1882. I've found it in some 2013 newspaper
Another point for you!
Descriptions of this vehicle in modern sources (the museum, a prior auction description, etc) are based on information provided by the prior owner and say the same thing: built by two Frenchmen and driven by them in 1882 from Paris to the UK (via ferry) and back, broke down in Rouen on the return to Paris and stored in a vault there. The two Frenchmen supposedly later died in war and the vehicle was found/recovered long after.
However, this story conflicts with the puzzle source (a 1913 postcard) and an additional period description from a 1913 periodical. [See below.]
Also, while neither period source refers to the vehicle by the name "Adventure" or "L'Aventure", they both describe the builders as "Globe Trotters", a term which I believe appears on the nose of the vehicle in the 1913 photo.
