Very close. But not what I have. I have it as a Triumph, but a different model, different builder, and different year

Triumph MK-II 2500S body, converted to a V-8 engined Stag Estate, inspired by the Ian Lines car. Thie pictured car was done by Alan Chatterton

This is awkward. The information I have is that it's an estate conversion of a Stag by Atlantic Garage in Weston Super Mare in 1972. I've been told that the man who made the conversion was Del Lines of Atlantic Garage.
So, I've awarded the point to Shamrock 2.
Before I move it up to "Solved" can someone confirm whether it is an estate conversion of a Stag as the badging suggests or if it is a 2500 estate with Stag mechanicals so I can get the title right.

Thanks. I'll label it as "1972 Triumph Stag Estate" and not say that it was made by Del Lines of Atlantic Garage.

The story goes on. I've received this message
"I have found some additional info that should help clarify.
The car started life as a white 2.5 pi estate and was the first to be converted by
Del Lines at Atlantic Garage in 1973 and fitted with V8 engines returned in warranty and then refurbished. Apparently 26 cars were converted (estates and
saloons) and were registered as Triumph Stag (estate or saloon)
The Alan Chatterton mentioned was not involved in the conversion and was the owner of DEL 33 for a while."
As the car was registered as a Stag, I'll leave it with that name.

In the puzzle picture no license plate was visible. The car and story I found had license plate LYB-864-K and was build by Chatterton as mentioned in my previous answer. No point awarded to me??

Thanks for the clarification. That's a relief. It appears I have fortuitously given the point to the right person.
