SOLVED: si_730 - Hanomag - H 55 - 1969
« on: November 14, 2024, 09:47:39 AM »
Well, does it stand a chance against the market leader?
Manufacturer, type designation and year of manufacture are required.

IVECO? No.
Hanomag Henschel F-series, but no further details yet.: F-series is right. The manufacturer's name was slightly different.
For more details you get five attempts. Locked for the Japanese Alfa Romeo.

H45 is what I could find for the "elevated" versions of the Hanomag (till 1969) and Hanomag Henschel (from 1969 onwards) F-Series.

Yes, it is a H-type from 1969, but heavier than "45".

There was a whole range of these vehicles. The F45, F55, F65, F75 and F76 (six cylinder). Recently had this matter with a Russian bus puzzle in which the last of the three options was the correct one. Lets see if Murphy's law applies again here.

1st attempt: H55

By the way I really like the entry hatch in the passenger's side roof of the cabin. Convenient way to enter the cabin ;-)

Perhaps that is the port for the ejection seat.

The vehicle was planned for civil protection. These emergency personnel have to be sporty ;-)

@ Alfa-Japan: Yes! It is a H 55, 4x4 with with portal axles, like the Unimog. But it probably didn't stand a chance against it when it was selected...

A crew car was also under development as the H 50.

Here is your next point!  :applause:

Thank you for the point and the puzzle. Additionally thanks for the photo of the other version. Very interesting to see they moved the headlights to the bumper in order for them not to be too high.
