okay, I searched for a long time but could not find it whre I thought i'd seen it..... eventually found a little info:
Citroen 2cv coupe sport by Phillipe Charbonneaux, 1954.
Alas, I cant seem to find out any more about it
I think so too, I found a picture with inverted colours, strangely there was SImca mentioned under the pic too...

this one?

perhaps more than one was built, or it was just repainted? This photo must be fairly comtempary to when the car was built so hopefully it's the former......
that's the one!

Would it be possible to post an unveiled pic of the dark car?

Well, the windscreen came from a Simca Sport...

Both cars (dark/light/dark and dark/dark/light) have the same license plate 88-DS-75.
I made a picture of the picture in "Toutes les Citroën" by René Bellu:

I remember seeing this a while back. Now if I could find all the details.

Pretty sure it's Citroen 2CV based?

1950's (maybe 1955) design by Philippe Charbonneaux on a Cirtroen 2CV chassis. Built by Pacaud.

Its amazing what designers back then did to "mundane" cars like the 2CV.

2CV designed by Charbonneaux is right, but I have a different builder..
Locked for you to see if you can match what I have (which I hope is right...) or prove I'm wrong!
Although you're an Expert now so can't answer Rookie puzzles any more I'll let  you have this one since you've got most of the answer already..

If you find you can't post in this thread let me know by PM and I'll move it to the Experts to enable you to answer.

I've moved this to the Experts only so that dracu777 can reply to it (he can't post replies on the Rookies board any more) hence this is of course locked for him!

I can't seem to find any other reference to this particular car. I'm going to throw out there Antem, since he's worked with them before, but I have now found 2 Internet sources attributing it to Pacaud.

Right or wrong, I believe you have solved the puzzle, as I have this car listed as an Antem construction.

I have it as by Antem so I consider this solved.  Well done.
