This car has appeared before but included very little information.
What I want to know now is what it is, what is it based on, when it originally dated from and when and who fitted this body - all for 1 measly point!:

It's a Georges Irat prototype from 1949. It's fitted with a body designed and manufactured by Labourdette. The "no-frame" windshield is made to design by Joseph Vigroux at Labourdette. Later it was fitted onto the Simca 8 chassis to make it road-worthy.

All that is correct (the Labourdette body was actually fitted in 1949) but there is one question you haven't answered yet:  When did it originally date from?
