Yes it is. Well spotted. I don't know much about the car, but I know when the conversion was done. LOCKED for dracu777 to see if he can find out.

I have found a reference that states the conversion was done in 1953, but it is not known by whom. The car has since been returned to its original roadster body.

Yes,that's all I know too.  The article mentions who first bought the car, but it is not thought that he was responsible for the conversion. I think it's a very interesting car - pity it was returned to stock format.
