Is this an early 1970s AMC Hornet Sportabout being used as a test mule for perhaps a turbine engine?

There is an AMC connection, and it is not a Hornet Sportabout.
It is an engine test mule, but not for a turbine.

It's not a Hornet, and it is not powered by CNG
The side window between the back doors and the hatch, is smaller and shaped differently than on a Hornet Wagon
