Boss Jag, 1967 Jaguar XKE, (69 Mustang 439 Engine)

I had seen it recently one somebody was telling on a form he bought an E-type, so someone asked if it was this one....lol

It's not a replica, it was a rusted out hulk.
It has a Ford BOSS 429 hemi in it, and most of it was built from scratch.
the car got 2nd in class at the Palo Alto Concours d'Elegance in 2000, seen alongside restored examples.

It sure is the car all right.
Should anyone be allowed to do that to an E-type?!
Now all I need is the answer to the second question: who was responsible for it?

Thanks for the lock, missed the who part..

Quote
This 1967 Jaguar XKE was customized with a super rare Boss 429 Ford/ Hemi engine. It's body, interior, power train and suspension work are extremes of Mr. Louis Luciani's craftsmanship. (San Bruno, CA). Most of the car remains Jaguar -- suspension, transmission, chassis and "most" body panels, but hood and rear fenders are fiberglass.

So Mr Luciani I presume was responsible for the job.

Actually I had his name as Luciano Sarra, but you're close so I think we'll call it solved.
No two sites ever seem to agree on details so who knows who's right and who's wrong?!
Well done.
