I thought so too, when I saw this at first. But according to the seller the coachwork is a quite old rebodying by a known coachbuilder.

Mercedes-Benz 170 V
"According to the available excerpt of the commission book these vehicle was delivered in May 1939 as a Cabriolet B to the "Oberkommando des Heeres" in Berlin. As per statement of the previous owner the car came to England after World War II and later it has been furnished with a new coachwork from "Hooper" (London). Here it must be emphasized the unique wicker work, from which is made the middle part including the seats. "

Hooper produced some extravagant designs, such as Lady Docker's Daimlers, but I find it very hard to believe that they could have perpetrated something like this.

There are hints of the Hooper style razor-edge to the wings, but that rear luggage trunk looks GRP to me.

I agree about the GRP luggage trunk - in fact I think the whole thing may be a replica, because the front wings have that 'thick' GRP look about them too - look at the inner flanges, pretty thick for steel or aluminium.
