The experts have shown the direction, but it seems to take a pro to finish it up.

E.H.P. DT Speciale
(E.H.P. stands for Ets. Henri Pecloux)
Engine is a 4 cyl. in-line of 1496cc
Competed at 24 Heures du Mans in 1926 driven by Guy Bouriat and Louis Dollfus.
Retired on the 34th. lap with engine trouble.

That's the one. I have EHP as Ets. Henri Précioux. Just to complete the answer before I give you the point, who made the engine? BTW, it is a six cylinder engine, not a four.
Locked for you until your next reply.

The engine is by C.I.M.E.
My source says the engines fitted to the 1495/1496cc cars competing at Le Mans were 4 cylinder.
Maybe a misprint in my book.
Anyway - another view of this unusual car -

BTW - it should be Ets. Henri Precloux (with an accent over the 'e')
I have seen it written as Precioux also but later being corrected to Precloux

C.I.M.E. is what I was looking for. Point well-earned.

Regarding the other questions, I will have a look in my books next week-end, as right now I only have some notes at hand.

I think it is Précloux instead of Précioux. A very trustive French source told me so. Unfortunately, I found no further proof for the six-cylinder engine, as EHP has used both fours and sixes of 1500 cc.

I agree as I stated in reply #12.
I'll continue to look for the answer of whether 4 or 6 cylinder engines were used and post any findings here.
Thanks Wendax

I agree with FrontMan for a Georges Irat. That seems to be the company's radiator.
