This is the only surviving DKW’s F9 prototype, Ten were built before the war broke out. This surviving F9 prototype was seized by the British at the end of the war... The DKW F9 was the prototype of a car Auto Union intended to launch as a successor to the DKW F8.

Nothing to add, but a point. The stillborn DKW F9 "Hohe Klasse" turned into the East German IFA F9 and the two-cylinder West German DKW F89 after the war.
