I'm sure the architecture is a clue, but for the moment it's no help.
Perhaps we are looking at a Belsize 18/22 of about 1910

Yes, the background would be a clue, in my opinion. Not a Belsize.

Well, although building of that period is something I reckon to know about, I don't recognise the background and the scale is a bit bigger than we see in the UK, so I'll guess it's in the USofA. If so, I cannot begin to guess which of the many cars of around 1910 it could be.

Your guess is correct. I agree with you - there were hundreds of marques in the US at that time. The date is absolutely spot-on, by the way.
