Solved - NEH 1692: Coggiola Sylvia - 1973

My Mercer Cobra puzzle was a re-post after all so I'm replacing it with this, which is probably also a re-post but another one I can't find!

1 point for identifying what it is, who built it on what base and when.

Google Search by Image continues to raise its ugly head on AutoPuzzles.

I'm sorry, I missed that last bit ; I saw the picture and I thought 'I know that car', so I answered ...

Anyway, the 1973 Coggiola Sylvia was based on a Opel GT and was designed by Trevor Fiore.

It's a 1973 Coggiola Sylvia. It's based on an Opel Kadett and was constructed by the Italian coachbuilder Coggiola.

That's the right car, yes, though I had it as being based on an Opel GT.
Coggiola built it but who designed it?

I gather it was designed by Trevor Fiore so it's another point for you.
This is a farily recent repost (of one of my own puzzles, when the solver also quoted Trevor Fiore as the designer..) so will be merged.
