Solved - MJW #722 - GMFSA SL-1 prototype 1986

I'm surprised this one hasn't been posted before......
Looks familiar? Yes but not what it appears at first glance.
Identify the make, year, engine options and who the people were who were responsible for building it.

Yes there is a connection as one of the partners who produced the puzzle car was the man behind LM SOVRA

engine: 2 options:
4 cylinders  1995 cm3 165 ch
V6 2458 cm3 200 ch.
