There's not much I know about this one..
I'd like to know the year it was built, the name and the engine of this car.
One point for the right and complete answer!

Ford Duval with Ford F472 V8 engine 1947 ?
To go back in two year steps was not the best idea. But you are very close now. ;D
The Ford engine however was a different one is correctly guessed. I have it as Ford Vedette (Simca, Matford „Aquilon“) 2L engine which was apparently re-named to F-472 later.
This racing engine however was modified with hemispherical combustion chambers.

You're both right. Oh dear..
It's a car which evolved into this, which I believe was its final iteration.
Point awarded and puzzle merged.

Interesting power to weight ratio - that's a Ford flathead (from a Vedette) in a Monopole chassis.

It's the Duval-Ford V8. It was originally a 1948 Monopole-Simca into which Duval squeezed a Ford V8 Vedette engine. It should have been a sidevalve engine but when put up for sale it appeared to have "hemispherique"- presumably heads.
-
Yes ! it's the Monopole Simca DS002 of 1948 with body modified by Duval who added a Ford engine V8. 3,9l in 1951 !
1 point for tobytwirl ! :)
