Who built this car and what was its donor? A point is waiting for you!

Is it Jaguar/SS based?

Biondetti's Ferrari-Jaguar?

The more you learn, the more you realise how little you know.

pnegyesi

tobytwirl - yes, Jaguar/SS-based

but not from Biondetti.

So tobytwirl gets 24 hours to find it. Locked

I have it as 1951 Gregory Charles with a Jaguar spl Lubianka, Yugoslavia.  I have a later photo when it was apparently BMW powered and driven by John London.

Very good! I did not have the driver's name. Here's the original photo and how the car looks today. A point for you!

Built by Karl Lično in the around 1949-1950 using parts from a pre-war SS and the engine from a BMW. Later it was resurrected by Ciril Komotar in the 1960s with a six-cylinder Opel engine. The car is still around today. John London and Gregory Charles were made up names by an Italian journalist.
