Based on a 1938 Opel Blitz and built by the operator Fritsche from Floha.. I hope my rusty German was not too far out

"This is a prototype streamline bus handmade by transport entrepreneur G. Fritsche from Flöha, Germany based on an Opel Blitz. The Opel, involved in a car accident, fell from a bridge, but for some reason the chassis and engine survived and were the base for this futuristic bus. "

The bus resides in the depot of the Technikmuseum Berlin today.
