1938 Chevrolet bodied by A/S Anco of Trondheim, Norway.

I picked up this photo and many others when I did a research project on Norway in 2014/2015.

I could not find if they were the sole Importer of GM products in Norway or merely a very large General Agent, but they did a lot of bodies on GM products.

Thank You, Pal:

I went back through my photo files and am posting a sort of history photo here regarding the development of A/S Anco.
The photo of the large premises in 1937, located on a harbour or river, would indicate a quite large organization so it may be that they were a direct Importer for GM.  They also sold Bedford and Opel vehicles.  Oddly, they did not seem to carry Buick, Cadillac or Pontiac vehicles but did also sell Oldsmobile cars and trucks.  They also seem to have been an importer for Imbert gas generator motor conversions.
