Sorry, I can't find any reference for the Ikarus Roman or Roman Ikarus buses, even when searching with rumanian descriptors.

As far as I can decipher, this was a ROMAN chassis bodied in Hungary. So any guess which MAN/ROMAN this may have been?

I was not any lucky with your hint. However, I remembered a Romanian site which was not available yesterday night, where I found this prototype just identified as "Roman buz". It seems to be your puzzle bus. Googling the images, I didn't find any info about the model, except that two photographs were taken by Ikarus some years ago. I could'nt find your photograph, alas.

Okay, I won't push you any further, this was captioned as an Ikarus-Roman 9.130 Hocll. And as the man who posted the picture on his Facebook page is a former Ikarus manager, I tend to believe him.
