Actually, this is an interesting photo: Firstly, what's the handsome coupe at lower left front and what's the convertible 'above' this? They both look European in origin. More importantly, can you see the ghost of a Geisha standing on the front seat of the left front convertible, her head out of the sunroof and her left hand gripping the windscreen rail? Spooky...

The coupe looks like a Mustang notchback to me.
Not sure about the convertible but it might also be a Ford?
One of our US members will straighten me out no doubt!

I think both guesses are right, but is Mustang a fastback, just the photo angle making it look like a notchback?

Yes of course. I don't know why I put 'notchback' as the fastback was the model I was thinking about with that side window shape!

The car is called "Thunderbolt". Built by John Ysker in 1967.

Yes, it is! I am in contact with the builder's son. No more details on it but it was not the only vehicle he built. I'll post more soon.

Nothing more to add, after all. It was built in Minneapolis, the car was nicknamed 'Flying Car' and was built at Ysker's "Thunderbolt Enterprises".
