I think there is no doubt about the fact it's italian!   I supposed Fiat, but the hubcaps look like Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 ones...so I try this guess.

It is Italian.
Chassis is Fiat, engine is not. No Alfa parts that I know of.

The aluminum body was done by a coachbuilder from the north of Italy...not a known name either.
Buider's name: Xxxxx Xxxx, coachbuilder: Xxxxxx Xxxxxx.

It had a Lancia Aprilia engine built by Aldo Markt and a Fiat 1100 chassis and was bodied by Carrozzeria Stella Alpina of Bolzano, I believe in the late 1940s.
