Not Bandin, that is a new name to me.
If you add a letter at the end of the name, you won't find an etceterini, if this is what my clue suggested you

I know you already know, but just to remind it:
From a known website about them:
By definition etceterinis are hand made small displacement Italian racing cars which were produced from the late 1940's to the early 1960's. Most of these beautiful cars used Fiat running gear and had their own chassis, hand hammered aluminum bodies, and engines. They raced throughout Europe in races such as the legendary Mille Miglia and also competed heavily in American SCCA racing.
I can add that many of those artigiani were active also in the 30s.
Since they often ends with 'ini' (Bandini, Ermini, Stanguellini, Pasquini, Mandarini, Giannini, Volpini and few dozens more

) not-italian people calls them that way: 'etcetera' plus 'ini'.
The name of the puzzle car's builder fit the description 99%, only because it doesn't have that final 'i'.
