Got a sneeky feeling I have seen it before. An Alfa Romeo/Nissan Arna/Cherry Europe estate from the early 1980's.

oko94

It's not an estate. And is it a Nissan or an Alfa ? Locked for you to answer completely and accurately.

wingroad

It is an Alfa Romeo Arna Pickup from 1985.It had the twin Carb Alfasud engine so a sort of sporty pick up.

oko94

One point for you. However I haven't seen any evidence that this pickup had a twin carb engine : the original scan includes text that refers to the production Arna 1.5 TI, not the pickup prototype.

I don't speak Dutch so I was sort of guessing as to what it said. Just assumed that 1.5 TI and Dell'Orto meant it was a twin carb engine, assumedly type 920 refers to this engine.

I think it means the choice of Dell'Orto or Weber carburettors; only one in each case!

The text is about two different topics. The left square has a text is about the introduction of the 1.5 engine in the Arna Ti. The text on the right side is about the pick-up prototype. This one-off pick-up was made in 1984 and not in 1985 as the text states. The builder could have been Coriasco although no evidence for that statement has been found so far. This pick-up was based upon the 1 single choke carburetor 3-door Alfa Arna L. The Arna L only received a sole double choke upon its "Facelift" at the end of 1984.
