OSCA MT4.

Correct. The reason I selected this as a puzzle is that the bodywork was different from other examples - there seemed to be innumerable variations of style for this make and model. That plus the fact that it was painted in Swedish racing colours although that is not clear on the black and white photograph.

It was pictured at the 1956 British GP meeting and apparently raced in the F2 event as a late entry not on the programme. So I know nothing about it!

This was sort of "easy pickings", to be honest. Some time ago, I put in a little effort to try and identify the chassis number and driver of this MT4, but then lost interest and moved on.

Anyway, thanks for the point!

Could it be MT4 1500TN 1163 driven by Jon Fast. Ex Villoresi/Musso (1174, but changed to 1163 when sold...). But I belived it was sold to Sweden after the 1956 season? And I belive this is Oulton Park 12th April 1958.

I think you're correct. I've just checked my programme for that meeting and the numbers fit. I found the puzzle photo on another forum, and trusted the information it contained.

Thank you for your help - I'll amend the puzzle title.

PS this car was driven by S Nottorp but entered by Fast.

Shame. Neither have I. It probably is though as they made the bodies on many of these but I would like to have it confirmed.  :)

Thank you. Does the internet page you speak have more pictures of the car? Could you send a link with it in a personal message?  :)
