Well that should be the Frazer-Nash Le Mans replica with Tony Brooks driving, leading a Lotus X (Michael Anthony?) and a Connaught AL/SR (Ken McAlpine?)

Yes indeed. No disrepect intended whatsoever, but it really was as easy as that! The twist being that the works car had a different grille and bonnet arrangement - I have no idea why because the tall Bristol engine needed a lot of air for the 3 carbs and most cars powered by that engine had a large inlet trunk on top of the bonnet.

Nice to see you get another point!

PS rather shamefacedly I notice there IS an inlet, but it's much smaller than the customer cars'.

Yes most Le Mans Reps had the proper radiator intake surround and the carb intake further back. What threw me was failing to remember that one was different so I had to take a look at a few bound Motor Sports before answering. Should have left it, as my second banishment to Pro approaches . . .
