I've been in touch with one of Mr Segado's son, and he said that this is the only picture existing of the car. He explained to me that his fhater suffered "poliomielitis" disease been a young boy, his leggs become partially paralized. He decided provide himself with some better mobility, His first vehicle was a trikker with 3 bycicle wheels and a small moped engine, without any kind of body. The one in the puzzle was his 2nd construction using a Hispano Villiers 125 c.c. engine, metal profiles and playwood and fiberboard plates. In cas of need these were wetted to allow to make forms. His next was a Vespacar (the former name of the Ape) conviniently adapted and following a Seat 600 whit adapted clutch and finally a Citröen 2CV. Besides the mobility problem he built up a familly with 6 sons,.. and a small industry of plastic goods focused to the souvenirs for the starting tourism activity in the Spanish "Costa del Sol".
