Who else made a 3-cylinder engine?  Is it SAAB powered?

The three inlet trumpets are an optical illusion - it's not 3-cylindered!

Is this an Australian car, or am I just reading too much into the colour scheme ?

It is an FJ, but not from a well-known maker.

I should have guessed from the rather startling chassis colour, that it wasn't a mainstream chassis - a TAD obscure perhaps ?
What do you suppose TAD stands for ?

That's what it is! Well found. I have absolutely no idea what the initials stand for, there's very little about this car on the internet. I have a note that it was once powered by a Vincent engine, presumably in the early years of FJ when engines were hard to come by down-under. By 1964 it was Ford powered, as in the puzzle photo.

Another point to you.
