I'm feeling generous since we're getting into the Christmas spirit so I've given you both a point!
I wanted a quite difficult puzzle for my 5000th so I posted a photo I took myself, thinking it would be hard to track down.
But then I found the same picture of it on the 'Net that gte4289 found, so I was a bit deflated!
According to the text Colin Chapman rejected the original front because he thought it was too old-fashioned, but no pictures of it seem to remain so no-one knows how old-fashioned it was.  I doubt very much whether it looked anything like the puzzle picture, however, as Lotuses of the time were all very aerodynamic looking, but  no matter - the builder made a smart enough job of it even if it does look like the front of one car and the back of another!
